Time Piles

Time Piles is an interactive video installation where images read from a camera are continuosly fed into a short video loop. The resulting loop is the summation of images captured by the camera over time. As the loop begins to wrap around itself, captured moments are removed from their immediate temporal context becoming elements in a collage of time. Processed images placed on top of the loop hide parts and reveal others, allowing the audience to see many instances of time at once.

These videos show 4 second loops created with Time Piles.
